Nepal - Day 10 Part 1: Bouddha Stupa

Nepal Day 10 Part 1 . I visited the famous Boudhanath Stupa in Kathmandu. It is one of the biggest spherical stupas in Nepal. I was lucky enough to capture a photo of a plane flying right over head!

The Boudhanath Stupa is one of Nepal’s ten UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It was badly damaged in the 2015 Earthquake, the spire at the top was restored and the site was reopened in November 2016.
